Seminar on “Allama Iqbal’s Concept of the Shaheen (Falcon) and Today’s Youth” at North South University
North South University hosted an insightful seminar titled “Allama Iqbal’s Concept of the Shaheen (Falcon) and Today’s Youth” on November 18, 2025, at the Syndicate Hall, NSU.
The event explored Allama Iqbal’s philosophical symbolism of the Shaheen, a metaphor for ambition, self-reliance, and moral strength, and its relevance for empowering today’s youth. Prof. Dr. Baseera Ambreen from the University of the Punjab delivered the keynote address, offering deep perspectives on Iqbal’s vision and its modern interpretation.
The session was graced by Mr. M. A. Kashem, Founder Life Member of the NSU Board of Trustees, as the Chief Guest.
