– CGPA: 3.00 or above
– Department: Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Department of Biochemistry and Microbiology
– Credit: Minimum 80 Credits completed
– Documents Verification must be completed from the Registrar’s Office
About the Program
What is the Summer Medical Exchange Program?
The Summer Exchange Program is a traditional international exchange program that Niigata University School of Medicine has been implementing for 30 years, since 1993, allowing students to learn international medicine.
This program is organized to strengthen mutual understanding among young people who will take leadership positions in the future. Therefore, we organize educational activities and a cultural program to strengthen friendships and interactions between students from different countries. This year, we are planning to accept students from China, Indonesia, Russia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and TBA.
Planned Events:
– Studying Japanese medical education and medicine
– Visit to different hospitals
– Participation in traditional cultural events
– Making friends (sic) with international friends from different countries, etc.

– Participation Fee: FREE
– Student Responsibility: Students must cover their own travel costs, meals, and incidental expenses.
– Health Insurance: All participants are required to arrange their own private health insurance.
